Hokusai Katsushika(1760-1849) was genius painter at the letter term Edo era japan,sometimes colling himself "the mad painter".
He was engaged in creating and publishing the epoch-making series of woodblock prints known as The Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji.
His published sketchbooks is wel known as the Hokusai Manga.
The Manga is not comic of today,it mean somhow, natural,wayward picture.
This " Hokusai Manga" extends to Europe in 1830's,and had a big influence on painters of the postimpressionism in France.

Nobody can revice this. If you wish learn how to paint seriously,you mast follow his picture as for model.
For that reason, I trace his pictures, and create aninations of the "Hokusai Manga".

葛飾北斎(1760-1849)は自らを画狂人と号した江戸後期の天才絵師で｢富嶽三十六景｣を始めとするその作品は今更説明するまでもありません。
彼のスケッチ画集｢北斎漫画｣は今日のマンガのようなものではなく、漫(そぞろ)画すなわち、大した理由もなく、自然気侭に描いた絵という意味で北斎自身が名付けたものです。この漫画は1830年代にヨーロッパに渡り、フランスの後期印象派の画家たちに大きな影響を与えたといわれています。
画集初編の序文に｢嗚呼、たれかよくこれに加えん、真に画を学ぶもの、開手となすべきか｣とあり、まあ、そういうわけもありまして畏れずにこれをコピ－し、アニメーションにしてみました。ご感想などございましたら、どうぞお気軽にメ－ルをお送りください。
